Qing Dynasty, 1829: Ivory Seal,
delicate Carving of a Poem.

Attractive, antique China seal made of ivory. The actual seal print consists of 2 characters, Da Ji ( ultimate luck ). A poem is ingraved
in very delicate, small „xing-shu” – script, as well as the name of the artist, Zhang Heng. Furthermore details to the period it has been carved: Dao Guang (1821 und 1850) in the year 1829.

12 x 45 mm, very fine condition, warm flair.

At the other side of the seal we find a landscape engraved.
