Baldur Benedikt von Schirach (1907 –1974) was a Nazi youth leader later convicted of being a war criminal. Schirach was the head of the Hitler-Jugend (HJ, Hitler Youth) and Gauleiter and Reichsstatthalter (“Reich Governor”) of Vienna.
