Very decorative propaganda postcard from Japan, promoting a “China Revolution Dept – campaign”.
 
The postcard shows a Chinese boy and silhouettes of workers and soldiers.
Printed text in Japanese at the reverse.

China Boxer Rebellion: Scarce Mocking-Postcard. 1900.

Boxer Upraise in China: Litho postcard depicting German Marines as they beat up Chinese. At the upper right corner is a portrait of Klemens Freiherr von Ketteler, who has been assassinated in Beijing in June 1900 – the beginning of the Boxer Rebellion.

Very fine condition. Used as postcard in Germany in 1900.

1898: b/w postcard depicting German missionaries on the leave. German soldiers and Chinese seeing them off.

Attached is a German 10 Pfennig stamp with a China imprint, tied by a TSINTAU China 26/12 98 – cancellation. Wilhelmshaven arrival mark.

Slight wear, a few brown spots form aging at the top border.
